Francesco Bianchi
Francesco has 30 years of experience in M&A and strategic consulting gained with such prominent international entities as JPMorgan Chase (Paris), Morgan Grenfell (London and Milan), Citi (London), and Bankers Trust (Milan), where he served as general manager and head of the M&A and Corporate Finance divisions. He was advisor to the liquidator of EFIM. He led the Strategic Development division of Banca Intesa for Italy and abroad. He holds a business degree from the University of Florence and is a chartered accountant and auditor. He sat on the board of BPM and was a member of the Supervisory Board of the IntesaSanpaolo Group; he was appointed by the Monti government as special commissioner of Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, later becoming its superintendent. He is a director and member of the Audit and Nominations committee of Livanova plc, a NASDAQ-listed company, world leader in devices for treating cardiovascular disease and neuromodulation therapy. He sits on the boards of other Italian industrial companies.
Massimiliano Facchi
Massimiliano has over 20 years’ experience in various areas of financial services (M&A, risk management, strategic planning) and market segments (retail, corporate, and private banking). Much of his professional career was with Bank Intesa, where he held various positions in Central Management, and at PwC, where he was a member of the Italian and European committees on strategic consulting. Since 2005 he has been an independent advisor for principal Italian financial intermediaries and family offices. He holds a business degree from the University of Brescia and earned a masters in corporate finance from Bocconi University in Milan. He currently sits on the boards of several unlisted industrial and service companies.
Fabrizio Landi
Fabrizio graduated in biomedical engineering from Politecnico of Milan. He has 30 years of experience in the life sciences, with executive positions at Ansaldo Biomedia Group then Esaote, protagonist of its first management buyout and subsequent exchange listing between 1994 and 1996, subsequent delisting, second MBO in 2005, and third MBO in 2010. From 2006 he held the position of CEO and general manager until 2013, which he left Esaote. He sits on the boards of European, North American and Asian high-tech medical companies and Sviluppo Genova S.p.A. He is currently a board member of some Menarini Group companies and Leonardo (formerly Finmeccanica); he also sat on the board of Banca CRF until its merger into Intesa. In 2015 he founded Panakes SGR, which manages closed-end venture capital funds focused on the life sciences sector. He is president of the TLS Foundation of Siena, one of the leading startup incubators and accelerators and public-private research institutions in Italy in the healthcare sector. He holds positions in Confindustria National as vice president of Reti d’Impresa and in Confindustria Florence and Southern Tuscany.
Daniele Pittatore
Daniele was born in Alessandria (AL) on 9 Sep 1969 and resides at Via Vittorio Veneto 12 in Valenza (AL). He is married to Poala Elisabetta Botto, and they have three children Gian Pietro, Carlo, and Francesco Pittatore. He earned a business degree from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan on 01/07/1994 and became licensed as a chartered account on 02/10/1995. He has been registered with the Board of Independent Chartered Accountants of Alessandria since 16 February 1996. He is registered (no. 111113) with the Board of Auditors (Ministerial Decree of 25/11/1999 published in the special supplement of the Official Journal special series 4 no. 100 of 17 December 1999). He is a partner in Studio Associato di Dottore Commercialista in Valenza at C.so Garibaldi 122. He sits on the board of directors and internal control , risk management, and related-parties committees of Società Banca Sistema S.p.A. in Milan, VAT no. 12870770158, active in the banking sector, primarily in the factoring of receivables due from the public administration). He is liquidator of Expo Piemonte S.r.l. in Valenza (AL), P.IVA 02019530068, active in the trade fair sector. He is chairman of the board of Società Forestali S.p.A. in Valenza (AL). VAT no. 01564820064, active in the non-retail financial sector (family holding company)
Sergio Ungaro
Sergio began his professional career with Citibank in positions of increasing responsibility in Italy and abroad in corporate and investment banking. From 1992 to 2001 he was Italy country manager for Citigroup. In 2002 he formed his own firm, offering corporate finance consultancy to major industrial groups. From 2002 to 2006 he collaborated with KPMG Advisory Services as senior advisor in the Finance practice and then as senior advisor of the U.S. investment fund Silver Point. He has also sat on the boards of CitiInvest, Coeclerici, Fiamm, Fondazione Dynamo, and S.P.E. Bank (Budapest) and was chairman of Anthilia SGR. He holds a law degree from Università di Bologna with post-graduate work in international relations at Johns Hopkins University. He is currently a board member of unlisted service companies, SNAI and Falck Renewables.
